Learn basic image transfer, painting techniques, (underpainting, blocking, creating texture, dry brushing, etc.), color mixing and application to create works of art, using photos as source. All levels from beginner to advanced welcome.


Instuctor: Melina Elum

Skill Level:  Beginner or above

Supplies:  Acrylic paint: recommend Grumbacher Academy acrylic color mixing set: 2oz tubes including Burnt Sienna, Cadmium Yellow Medium Hue, Grumbacher Red, Raw Umber, Titanium White, and Ultramarine Blue, or Winsor & Newton Galeria acrylic color set incuding Cadmium Yellow Medium, Cadmium Red Hue, Winsor Blue, Phthalo Green, Burnt Umber and Titanium White. 

Note: Please be sure you don't get "craft paint." There are many brands and qualities differ greatly. Try not to purchase the lowest priced paint OR brushes. These supplies are available through Blick Art.com, Amazon Prime, Hobby Lobby.
