Writing short can be a fun and low-commitment way to tell stories The constraints force you to choose your best words, cut what doesn’t work, and get to the heart. In this workshop, we will brainstorm ideas, write a first draft, and work through how to polish it—all in two hours! You’ll leave with a work of flash fiction or non-fiction that is ready to be shared and possibly a new addiction to short works. Join us if you want a low-stakes way to start writing or just to try a fun and creative exercise.

Please bring a notebook and a good writing pen to class.

Cost: members: $13.50, guests: $15

Minimum 4, Maximum 20 (teen to adults)
