VOLUNTEERS and DOCENTS Needed:

The Joe is staffed by dedicated volunteers determined to providing a superior visitor experience. Our volunteers assist in a variety of important ways and many play an essential role in providing excellent visitor engagement. Everyone who walks through our doors is greeted warmly and provided with the most up-to-date information available about our events, shows, or classes.

Some people put in regular hours and some complete a specific task. You can take on an ongoing project or work a few days a month. If you don’t have a lot of time, consider being a gallery docent. Volunteering to be a docent is easy, One needs no prior experience with teaching and art to be a docent. Docents are dedicated volunteers who are passionate about art, learning, and community. They facilitate tours and guided conversations about The Joe's collection, events, and special exhibitions.  Enthusiastic and outgoing, our volunteers are truly The Joe's ambassadors to the community.

We're now planning our 2022 shows, events, classes, and more! The new year promises to be our busiest yet - we're CREATING BIG THINGS at The Joe, come be a part of our growing Art Center!
